What aspects should be considered when choosing a suitable servo reducer

Among many reducers, servo reducers are widely used in many motors because of their efficient working characteristics. Want them to play a better performance, not only to choose a professional and reliable servo reducer brand, but also to choose a suitable servo reducer. The following four aspects should be considered:

One, determine the required reduction ratio. If the standard reducer of the servo reducer brand does not have the required reduction ratio, it can also be customized.

2. After the deceleration ratio is determined, please multiply the rated torque of the servo motor of your choice by the deceleration ratio. In principle, the value obtained is less than the rated output torque of the similar reducer provided in the product catalog, while considering the overload capacity of the drive motor and the actual greater working torque required. The required greater working torque should be less than twice the rated output torque. After satisfying the above conditions, please choose a smaller gearbox among the servo gearbox brands. The cost of a small reducer is relatively low.

Third, retreat. The smaller the return gap, the higher the accuracy and the higher the cost. The user should consider transverse/radial stress and average life. The reducer with large lateral/radial stress has high reliability in installation and use and is not prone to problems.

Fourth, what needs to be reminded is that what needs to be considered is whether the weight of the matching motor meets the reducer. Some reducers are only allowed to match with motors less than a certain weight. If the motor is too heavy, long-term operation will damage the input flange of the reducer.

The servo reducer is the weight of the gear transmission of the reducer. Generally speaking, the weight of Yili Electromechanical Gear is closely related to its material and heat treatment hardness. For example, under the same power, the weight of a carburized and hardened gear is about 1/3 of that of a hardened and tempered gear.

Therefore, according to the structural characteristics of the planetary gear reducer and the load characteristics of the gear, hardened gears should be widely used. There are many heat treatment methods to obtain hardened gears, such as surface quenching, overall quenching, carburizing quenching, nitriding, and so on. Should be considered and selected according to the characteristics of the planetary gear reducer.
